Organs are majestic...

Today Rice Boy and I were wandering around campus when we walked by Finney Chapel and heard beautiful sounds. I know which door is usually unlocked and just our luck it was. We snuck in as silently as possible to listen to the Organ. Rice Boy said he had never heard anything as amazing in all of his travels. We sat and listened for a long time... just us in the otherwise empty pews and the organist in his seat high above the stage.

Rice Boy enjoys a spring day...

It has been cold here in Oberlin, at least for the past few months. But with the arrival of Rice Boy came the warm mild weather of spring time. We were going for a walk through the campus when Rice Boy spotted the first flowers poking their heads out of the ground.

He insisted on taking a nap among the flowers and afterwords we enjoyed ice cream on the quad.

Rice Boy visits Tappan square

After recuperating from his long trip, Rice boy was ready for adventure. He spent most of this week lying on my bed reading my books. Today however, it was just too sunny not to go out. Rice boy and I took a trip on my bike to Tappan square, the big tree covered park in the middle of Oberlin. We relaxed in the sun and watched some students do yoga. Overall, a beautiful day.

Arrival of Rice Boy

Today I received a package containing a new but familiar friend. Fresh from saving his own world, Rice boy came to me in a simple cardboard box ready to explore a new world.

I fell in love with him immediately and I am sure that there will be endless adventures to come... but to start I introduced him to the gang...
I think they hit it off...

Now we can start adventuring!!!
